As a life long Kylie fan there are certain things that can be guaranteed with any album release …
- Glitter
- A change of direction
- Amazing photoshoots
- A tour
- General fabulousness that most artists only dream of
- And a handful of discarded tracks that are better than the ones on the album and dominate fan playlists
Kiss me Once is no exception to this rule .. and first to emerge in the playlist shuffle is Sparks. A track so good it not only should have been on the album instead of … ummm .. lets say Sexercise – which to be fair is dreadful – it should have been a single contender. It is a standout track that is different from the rest in the way Les Sex and I Was Gonna cancel are. It does lead one to wonder if the music bods who make the final choice do so in a padded cell with ear muffs on.
That said Kiss Me Once is pretty epic, I said it could possibly become the best album released ever ( I did yes – HERE ) – well I don’t think it is but it’s an equal best ever – two duff tracks makes it level best with X in my basic and slightly biased judgement.
So here is Sparks – The should have been on the album song. Enjoy

Amazing. I’ve ditched Sexercise and Beautiful from my playlist. This totally makes sense as track 10. Thank you!
Its so does, although I like Beautiful but have ditched Sexercise – reckon it is one of her worst songs ever ! even nudity was better. Sparks and Sleeping with the enemy are my 2 favorites so far.
Nudity – so bad, although she did do that fun little acoustic video for it. And now there’s the playful Sexercise videos… Still doesn’t fit on the album though!
